Rehab

Get back to doing what you love.

Rehab and corrective training for active adults dealing with pain, an injury, or a limitation that keeps coming back. Your plan starts with what is actually causing it. You’ll get back to doing more, not simply out of pain.

  • Less pain, by working on the cause and not the symptom
  • Movement and range restored where pain has limited them
  • Strength rebuilt so the problem is less likely to return
  • A practical path back to the activity you stopped

A better starting point

Understand how you move.

Every IMTI relationship begins with an assessment. We learn about your goals, history, what you can do now, and what you want to get back to. Then we know exactly where to start, and which path is right for you.

As a chiropractor I know when someone has mastered their craft when it comes to body work. Mario is definitely a master. His knowledge of the body, ability to get at the root cause of pain and treatment style are second to none. Mario was integral in helping me bounce back after surgery. He also helped me to stay healthy and continue training to enjoy a half Ironman last year. I strongly recommend using his service whether you have pain or not. You will be making the right investment of your time and resources!

What every plan stands on

The three pillars of IMTI Training + Rehab.

Three commitments behind every assessment, every plan and every session, whichever path you start on.

  1. RealAnswers

Every plan starts with a movement assessment, not assumptions. We find the actual cause, then tell you plainly what we found, and what it will take to fix it.

    Starts with the Movement Assessment

  2. RealResults

Getting out of pain is the starting line. The goal is getting you back to feeling like yourself, with the strength to keep it that way.

    Stronger and back for good

  3. RealPartnerships

Rehab and training work as one team, with one plan, whether you arrive in pain or ready to train.

    One team, one plan

Real people. Real results.

Matt Tiess is an extremely knowledgeable personal/functional trainer. I have been going to him for years and he has been able to keep me competitive in my sport as I have aged and tailor my sessions to work through any muscular issues that were presenting themselves. Now at age 70 with an upcoming total hip replacement on the horizon, he has kept me functioning with as little pain as possible through specific exercises and stretches that target the affected muscles. My plan after surgery is to continue seeing Matt to help me recover, return to competition and to a very active lifestyle. I highly recommend Matt because he is very personable, listens to your needs and concerns, has a vast knowledge of the human body and how it functions and devises a personal approach to getting your body where it needs to be to function properly.

My name is Brian, and I was a PGA teaching professional in San Diego for three years. As I started my teaching career, I could only do between 20 and 25 lessons a week due to extreme back pain and standing for long periods of time. I met Mario at my golf course and we begin a relationship as teacher to student. I then I found out through our lessons and conversation that Mario was a muscle rehab therapist and I informed him of my back situation. That was a life-changing day for me as after my very first session with Mario, my entire body felt like it was new. By the time that I reached the pinnacle of my career, I was giving 80 lessons a week with zero pain. I can't emphasize enough how much Mario and his office had done for me. I recommended almost all of my students to Mario with all of them coming back with great results as well.

A message from our founder

I built IMTI on a simple idea: that getting out of pain and getting fit aren’t two separate tracks, they build on each other.

One team, one plan.

Wherever you’re starting, we’ll meet you there.
